Here we have a stunner 😍
🚗 A Porsche 911.997 Carrera S 3.8 (2005 – 68,389 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean. Recently purchased and supplied with pre-purchase inspection and checks by a Porsche specialist.
The owner has used us before for 3 other vehicles and wanted to give this some TLC also.
Given the age and mileage it was already running very nicely and the interior and exterior was in great condition.
🔎📊 Initial diagnostics showed a list of historic codes which looked related to the recent work performed pre-purchase. We documented and cleared those and just one remained relating to the instrument cluster display. Live data looked good with no misfires, no significant over fuel on any of the injectors and all temperatures and lambda values looking pretty good.
👨🔧 On with the clean and whilst already running nicely there was a bass purr present upon commencement. This soon diminished as the engine smoothed out and the exhaust sharpened up into a raspy burble by the end.
🗣️ ‘Really well thank you – it seems to rev more cleanly and there is more of a crisp tone to the exhaust note.’
