⚠️ Another BMW with DPF problems.
Here we have a returning customer with a new acquisition – a BMW 535D (2007 – 186,652 miles) booked in for diagnostics due to the DPF light coming on when driven.
📊 Initial code scan on this 535d confirms error codes for all glow plugs (likely the controller) and the test drive confirmed the thermostats are likely stuck open so with either of these issues the car will not regenerate.
✔️ Thankfully the owner contacted us quickly and the DPF is still not blocked so with new thermostats (main + EGR) and a new glow plug controller, harness and plugs this will start regenerating again.
