🚗 Here we have a VW Sharan 2.0 TDI (2009 – 118,488 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean with a surging on idle and generally being a bit noisier, thirstier and sluggish than it should be.
🔎📊 Initial diagnostics showed little of note and the logged codes present were documented, cleared down and sent to the owner. The vehicle did run smooth with the MAF disconnected so potentially a new MAF may be required.
👨🔧 On with the clean and the vehicle soon quietened down and smoothed out.
