🚗 Here we have a Seat Leon ST 2.0 TDI (2014 – 127,573 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean as part of a multi-vehicle booking. No particular running issues with this one, but the owner wanted to ensure he keeps it that way.
🔎 Initial inspection found engine mounts in good condition, but a tell tale bass purr to the engine.
💻 Initial diagnostics showed quite a few historic codes present including an ECU glitch approximately 20,000 miles ago. Also a issue with the high level brake light which returned once the codes were cleared. Otherwise all other values looked fine with the DPF last regenerating 269km ago. Injector variance was approx 0.8 when we commenced.
👨🔧 On with the clean and the bass note present subsided as we went and the injector variance trimmed in to 0.4 by the end as it smoothed out and quietened down.
