⚠️ Vehicle not as quiet, smooth, responsive or economical as it used to be? Issues starting?
🚗 Here we have an Audi A6 2.0 TDI (2010 – 87,887 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean as part of a multi-vehicle booking. The owner wanted to get it running sweetly again and did have an issue with starting it to investigate.
🔎 Initial inspection found the engine mounts in good condition with fluids at normal levels.
💻 Initial diagnostics identified an active code for the Ignition switch circuit which may well explain the starting issues.
📊 Live data monitoring showed coolant temperatures at normal levels, DPF data showing regeneration 38km ago and injectors running nicely within tolerances.
👨🔧 On with the clean and there was a significant amount of bass note present at the start which soon dissipated and the throttle response returned leaving it quiet, smooth and responsive again by the end.
