Here we have a recently purchased Vauxhall Astra 1.4 (2016 – 41,296 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean.
The owner had only acquired it last week and wanted it checked over and cleaned before putting too many miles on it.
📊 Diagnostics showed quite a few old historic codes due to a low battery event and at some point it looks like the aircon unit had a been replaced, but otherwise running pretty sweetly with live data looking good across the board.
⚙️ On with the clean and with just 41k miles over 3 years it wasn’t struggling, but still had a bass purr to the engine from buildup which disappeared during the clean and now much quieter, smooth and responsive again.
