🚗 Here we have a Volvo V40 D3 (2012 – 118,914 miles) booked in for diagnostic consultation and Engine Carbon Clean.
ℹ️ The owner wanted it checked out and cleaned up in advance of a remap. He had used us on his previous vehicle so knew who to call.
🔎 Initial inspection found no apparent issues in the engine bay with no rattles or leaks, just a bass note from the carbon present.
💻 Initial diagnostics showed multiple active turbo sensor error codes of which the owner was unaware. No symptoms had been exhibited (no limp mode or power issues felt when driving).
📊 Live data monitoring showed all other data looking fine with coolant temperature at a steady 88°C, nice injector fuelling and all other data looking spot on.
👨🔧 On with the clean and the engine soon smoothed out and quietened down and by the end it was quieter, smooth and responsive again.
