⚠️ DPF lights on frequently? Clean up the source of the soot to help keep those lights at bay.
Here we have a 2004 Skoda Octavia diesel booked in due to the DPF light coming on frequently. Thankfully with a good drive the light is still going out suggesting it can still regenerate. The vehicle is doing short journeys and although low mileage the previous owner just did short journeys also. The engine was significantly boomy and shaking due to the level of buildup.
📊 Diagnostics confirmed that all relevant sensors and components required for successful regeneration were working so on with the clean.
⚙️ This was very rumbly when we arrived and throughout the clean the bass note lessened and the response returned and after 50 minutes was quiet, smooth and responsive again.
