📝 ‘Car now runs a lot quieter and MPG has gone up. EML came on so Adrian advised me to get the car checked first before doing the clean so I would see the benefits. Most companies would’ve just done the clean. Once car was cleared of the fault Adrian came back and done the cleanup. He discussed every step he was doing and showed me what the system was doing. After 30 minutes you could definitely hear the engine had gone quieter. Took it for a drive and my mpg has gone up and acceleration seems a lot better. Will definitely use this company again‘

🚗 Here we have a return visit to a Vauxhall Zafira 1.6 petrol (2010 – 139,614 miles) we originally saw earlier in the week. The owner had recently acquired it and was having running issues with it ‘Kangarooing’.
🔎 Initial inspection on our first visit found a very slight hunt on idle and a bass note to the engine from the buildup present.
💻 Initial diagnostics on our first visit found a P0171-52 Fuel Trim System Lean code present which we suspected may be down to the Petrol Evap. Control Purge Solenoid – a common problem on these vehicles. We DID NOT clean it on the first visit and recommended the vehicle be checked at a garage. We are back today with the issue allegedly fixed after a new coolant temperature sensor was fitted.
📊 Live data looked OK with temperature levels fine and the code not present since the work had been performed so we proceeded with the clean.
👨🔧 The engine soon smoothed out and quietened down and seemed to idle much better, but an occasional slight hunt on idle remained. Unconvinced the mechanical issue had been rectified we advised the owner to monitor what happens and let us know and sure enough the Kangarooing started again after some more miles on the road.
