🚗 Here we have a Vauxhall Vivaro (2013 – 146,913 miles) booked in for diagnostic consultation and Engine Carbon Clean.
🔎 Initial inspection found no major issues in the engine bay apart from the tell tale bass note from the carbon present.
💻 Initial diagnostics showed no engine issues, but a fair few historic electrical/communication issues in other control modules. As usual we documented and cleared those.
📊 Live data monitoring showed data looking OK with coolant temperature at 88°C, good injector fuelling and good fuel pressures, EGR flow and movement all OK.
👨🔧 On with the clean and the engine soon smoothed out and quietened down and by the end it was much quieter, smooth and responsive again.
