âšī¸ The owner had found the MPG dropping away and it was getting increasingly lumpy recently.
đ Initial inspection found a potential issue with the coolant being low and before we proceeded the coolant was topped up. The radiator fan was on and off very frequently.
đģ Initial diagnostics showed no codes present.
đ Live data confirmed the vehicle washed running hot just standing at idle with the temperature fluctuating between 100-112°C and being regulated by the radiator fan. Other than the temperature issue the live data looked fine.
đ¨âđ§ On with the clean and taking it slowly and gently due to the temperature it soon smoothed out, quietened down and the response returned.
