🚗 Here we have a VW Caddy 1.6 TDI (2014 – 39, 279 miles) booked in after the owner wanted to keep on top of the maintenance going forward.
ℹ️ Having recently having issues with the throttle body he wanted to help prevent future issues and get the vehicle properly checked over.
🔎 Initial diagnostics found a few miscellaneous items which were documented for the owner, cleared down and monitored what reappeared.
📊 Live data monitoring found all relevant temperature sensors showing correct values. DPF statistics showed nice low back pressure, minimal soot content due to the fact it was only 17km since the last regeneration had completed. All other live data looked good so on with the clean.
👨🔧 The vehicle was running pretty well already, but the bass note present at the start soon subsided, the engine smoothed out and quietened down and by the end was nice and crisp, responsive again and ready for the road ahead.
