đ ‘Well this is my second time using East Midlands engine carbon clean (F5ECC) carried out by Adrian. I had been struggling with a Intermittent check injection light for most of the summer 2020, and after the garage I visited didn’t have any answers for it. I knew exactly who to call, and a fault code was found straight away, a fuel pressure sensor that needs to be replaced.. happy days. Adrian is incredibly knowledgeable and sure does know his stuff and provides a detailed report of your vehicles internal condition. As for the carbon clean it was as good as expected. I’m running a high mileage vehicle and the results were fantastic. After the clean I took it for a blast down the M1 A smoother pull off in 1st gear as well as a more smoother ride in 5th and 6th gear as seemed rumbly before the clean. Much quieter at idling and generally more sharper and noticeably quicker on the roads too with a noticeable jump in power output. Unlike others who will rev the valves off your car’s bonnet, Adrian has a much more professional approach to your vehicle. Very pleased and will be returning in the future.’ âââââ

đ Here we have an Renault Laguna 1.5dci (2009 – 170,435 miles) booked in for diagnostic consultation and Engine Carbon Clean.
âšī¸ The owner had been having intermittent ‘Check Injection’ warnings and having used us previously wanted to get us to check it out and clean it up asap.
đ Initial inspection found little of note in the engine bay with no obvious rattles or leaks. There was a fair amount of bass rumble to the engine and associated boom to the exhaust.
đģ Initial diagnostics found quite a few engine codes including multiple codes related to the rail pressure sensor. We documented and cleared the codes for the owner who can now get this addressed.
đ Live data monitoring showed decent values for most components with engine temperature just below 90°C and rail pressure appearing OK at standstill.
đ¨âđ§ On with the clean and after just ten minutes the bass note dissipated, the engine smoothed out and quietened down and by the end it was much quieter, smooth and responsive again.
