⚠️ Vehicle not as quiet, smooth, responsive or economical as it should be (or used to be)?
🚗 Here we have a Jaguar XF 2.7 Diesel (2009 – 142,460 miles) booked in for a maintenance diagnostic consultation and clean. The owner wants to keep this one for a while so preservation is key.
🔎 Initial diagnostics showed lots of historic data with a couple of active issues. We documented this and cleared down the historic codes leaving the following active issues – electric heater control module and 2 of the parking sensors.
📊 We talked the owner through all the live data which showed coolant temperatures where they should be, DPF regenerating well with low backpressure (although perhaps a little too frequently with an average of 217 miles between regens) and all other live data looking good.
👨🔧 The vehicle was a little sluggish underfoot and fairly noisy, but that soon dissipated and by the end was nice and quiet, smooth and responsive again.
