đ Here we have an Audi Q3 2.0 TDI (2014 – 54,618 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean.
âšī¸ The owner had just acquired it and wanted it thoroughly checked on the diagnostics and cleaned up for the road ahead.
đ Initial inspection found little of note in the engine bay, nice and clean and no wobble from engine mount wear. No rattles or excessive shaking – generally running very nicely and although a bass note present from carbon buildup it wasn’t excessive.
đģ Initial diagnostics found a clean bill of health and no codes had reappeared on the miles driven since he collected it.
đ Live data again looked spot on with the thermostat behaving nicely, DPF data showing 469km since the last regeneration, normal backpressure and soot levels. EGR flow was good.
đ¨âđ§ On with the clean and the bass note present soon dissipated and by the end it was lovely and quiet, smooth and responsive again.
