đ Here we have a Vauxhall Corsa 1.0 petrol (2004 – 85,603 miles) booked in for diagnostic consultation and Engine Carbon Clean.
âšī¸ The owner had owned this a while and with short journeys and the age/mileage wanted to get it running back to its best.
đ Initial inspection found no major issues in the engine bay, but did find a slight wobble at idle which was likely worn engine mounts. There was a significant amount of bass rumble and a lack of response.
đģ Initial diagnostics showed only a couple of old codes. We documented and cleared these for the owner.
đ Live data monitoring showed available data looking OK with coolant temperature at a healthy 98°C.
đ¨âđ§ On with the clean and the engine soon smoothed out and quietened down and by the end it was much quieter, smooth and responsive again with just a faint wobble potentially from the mounts.
