Here we have another BMW 320d with DPF problems due to glowplugs (plus other issues) disabling regeneration.
The exhaust backpressure sensor code and EGR position sensor code reappeared IMMEDIATELY on deletion which suggests they are faulty and live data confirmed readings for these were not normal and flatlined.
The glow plug controller (and/or plugs) also need changing before this will regenerate successfully.
Whilst monitoring the live data we also did our checks for the thermostats to check coolant temperatures were up where they should be and whilst we could get the temperatures close, it suggests that the thermostats are starting to get lazy so would be a good idea to replace these now rather than leave it until they become an issue.
No clean on this one until the issues above have been rectified.
