Here we have a Honda Civic EP3 (2004 – 122,886 miles) booked in as the owner loves his car and although already modified has ideas for a turbo build.
In advance of that work he wanted to get it checked out and cleaned up.
On arrival the tell-tale bass note from the engine bay indicated the level of carbon present with the bass purr and subsequent boom from the exhaust present.
On with the clean and the bass note soon subsided and the boom from the exhaust toned down to more of a burble. Much quieter and smooth now.
