Here we have a stunning modified Vauxhall Combo 1.3 CDTI (2010 – 98,829 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean.
Initial diagnostics identified a glow plug circuit issue and the reason for the airbag light with a code present for the driver pretensioner circuit.
We spotted the coolant temperature was just marginally below the midpoint and upon further investigation found the coolant temperature dropped rapidly with the heaters on – thermostat was sticking open which will impact MPG and emissions.
⚙️ On with the clean and by the end was quiet, smooth and responsive again.
