Mini Cooper S Misfire on Cylinder 4

Misfire on Cylinder 4 Mini Cooper S (2007 – 91,765 miles)
Reason for booking in…‘The car is very slow to respond/lacks power when trying to accelerate, when going up/down gears when over taking slow moving vehicles.’
Initial inspection of the Mini Cooper found no obvious issues in the engine bay with no excessive rattles and shakes, but a tell tale bass purr from the engine from the carbon present.
Initial code read found… cylinder 4 combustion misfires
Live data for the Mini Cooper S showed all values on the day looking acceptable with no misfires at idle, temperatures as expected, etc.
On with the Engine Carbon Clean for the Mini Cooper S and It soon smoothed out, quietened down and by the end it was quiet, smooth and responsive again.
❗ The owner can now start to run better fuel and see if the misfires return. If so then start looking at the spark plug, coilpack and injector as next steps.
