‘Have had a couple of DPF Regeneration failures recently. Latest today was P244C – Exhaust Temperature Too Low For Particulate Filter Regeneration, Bank 1’

🔎 Initial inspection found no obvious issues in the engine bay apart from a vibration from the clutch and a tell tale rumble in the engine from the carbon present.

🔎 Live data showed acceptable coolant temperature in the mid to high 80s and DPF data indicating the DPF wasn’t blocked. Exhaust Gas Temperature sensors seemed to be working fine with decent temperatures. All other data for EGR and injectors looked fine.

🧑‍🔧 On with the clean and It soon smoothed out, quietened down and by the end it was quiet, smooth and responsive again.

❗ The most likely culprit for the code appearing is typically the vaporiser. The owner can now get this replaced and also get the clutch/flywheel done.
