Here we have a recently purchased Volvo XC90 (2007 – 118,162 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean.
Initial health check found significant engine shake and vibration, so much so that the diagnostics equipment was shaking on top of the steering wheel.
Diagnostics showed some historic engine codes for glow Plug controller, engine cooling fan and an oil level sensor issue which reappeared immediately once cleared. After we performed a manual check on the oil level to confirm correct levels we proceeded with the clean.
⚙️ After just 10 minutes the engine vibration lessened and by the end of the clean was quiet, smooth and responsive again.
