Here we have a 2011 BMW X5 on 66,227 miles booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean after recently struggling on the cold starts.
Diagnostics showed some old codes, but the key active code was to do with the fuel filter pre-heater element. The onset of the issues coincided with a service where the fuel filter was changed. Now the owner knows the issue he can get this addressed.
⚙️ On with the clean and the rumbly bass note to the engine subsided and the response returned and by the end was quieter, smooth and responsive again.
