Here we have a Range Rover Sport 2.7 booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean. Running well enough, but down on MPG (approx 21).
Immaculate inside and out this very well presented car had the tell tale bass note to the engine and was revving as freely as it should be.
📊 Diagnostics showed a few historical issues including a historic code for the EGR. Live data confirmed EGRs not operating, but also the commanded EGR movement flatlined. This suggests they have been removed and the vehicle has had a remap prior to the owner purchasing it.
⚙️ On with the clean and the bass note subsided and the response returned as we proceeded and after 45 minutes was quiet, smooth and responsive again.
