Here we have a recently acquired Porsche Cayenne Turbo (2006) on 132,381 miles booked in for a diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean.
The owner wanted to get it checked over and cleaned up ready for the road ahead after recently purchasing the vehicle.
Diagnostics showed quite a lot of historical codes which we documented and then cleared. The few remaining codes included an Air Quality Sensor for the air conditioning. The key one of interest though was the main radiator fan control circuit.
These engines run hot anyway, but the lack of cooling meant temperatures were high so a careful clean was required.
45 minutes on this one and now quiet, smooth and responsive again with a short list of items the owner can now get resolved.
