⚠️ Car not as smooth, quiet, responsive and fuel efficient as it was? Here we have a 2010 Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTI on 122,481 miles booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean after slowly declining MPG.
📊 Diagnostics showed quite a lot of historical codes relating to sticking turbo issues, glowplug and DPF regeneration time. The glow plug was recently changed. We documented the stored codes and emailed them to the owner. We then cleared and monitored the system throughout the clean. Live data showed all looked good and the codes did not reappear throughout the duration of the clean.
⚙️ Quite sluggish, rumbly and noisy on arrival, but the tell-tale base note lessened as we proceeded. Once complete it is now much quieter, smooth and responsive again after the clean.
