⚠️ Engine light on?
Here we have a VW Touareg 3.0 TDI (2016 – 18,126 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean after the Engine Management Light had come on recently.
Initial health check all looked fine.
Diagnostic showed the EGR Temperature Sensor was at fault for the engine light. There is was also an issue with a short circuit on the passenger door folding mirror which explained why it was misbehaving.
⚙️ On with the clean and even with the relatively low mileage it smoothed out and quietened down.
