Here we have a returning customer with a recently acquired Audi A3 (2007 – 122,675 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean.
Although it drove OK on the day of purchase there have been issues on the daily commute since purchase
📊 Diagnostics showed some historic codes for an injector valve and also an intake manifold runner which looks like it is hampering DPF regeneration. The DPF last attempted a regeneration 23 miles ago and frequent attempts to regenerate would explain the symptoms. Soot loading is still only at 39% and backpressure showed low enough to regenerate. We advised the customer to get the engine related issues rectified asap so that regeneration can recommence.
⚙️ We proceeded with the clean and by the end the vehicle was quiet, smooth and responsive again.
