⚠️ Just bought a vehicle? Not as quiet, smooth, responsive or economical as it should be?
Here we have an Audi A3 2.0 TDI (2008 – 181,001 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean after the owner has not long purchased it and wanted to get it checked out and cleaned up.
On arrival we could see and feel a tell tale wobble from engine mount wear and this certainly explained the wobble the owner mentioned he could feel at idle when booking in.
Diagnostics showed some historic codes which we documented and cleared, the ones remaining were for glowplug 4 and two crash sensors which the owner can get addressed.
⚙️ On with the clean and as the overall engine vibration subsided the wobble from the engine mount became clear – something else the owner can now get replaced.
