⚠️ Just bought a vehicle? Not as quiet, smooth, responsive or economical as it should be?
🚗 Here we have an Audi A3 2.0 TDI (2008 – 181,001 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean after the owner has not long purchased it and wanted to get it checked out and cleaned up.
🔎 On arrival we could see and feel a tell tale wobble from engine mount wear and this certainly explained the wobble the owner mentioned he could feel at idle when booking in.
📊 Diagnostics showed some historic codes which we documented and cleared, the ones remaining were for glowplug 4 and two crash sensors which the owner can get addressed.
⚙️ On with the clean and as the overall engine vibration subsided the wobble from the engine mount became clear – something else the owner can now get replaced.
