‘I have recently purchased a 2010 BMW 116d with almost 110k on the clock. One owner from new and looked after. I’ve noticed it smells a bit when idling so thought about getting a carbon clean done.’

🔎 Live data showed all values looking good for exhaust temps, DPF regeneration, EGR movement, etc. all looking fine.
❗ When we connected up we found the intake pipe had been forced on and crimped the rubber hose. At the end of the clean we managed to reshape it back into place.
🧑🔧 On with the clean and It soon smoothed out, quietened down and by the end it was quiet, smooth and responsive again.
