1️⃣ Ford Focus 1.5d (2016 – 73,700 miles) – a standard diagnostic consultation and Engine Carbon Clean
2️⃣ Nissan X-Trail 2.0d (2008 – 190,083 miles) – we originally saw a few weeks ago and had a DPF issue and a faulty sensor so no cleaning was performed on that day. Since that day and the DPF issue was resolved it had also had an issue where it hadn’t started properly.
🔎📊 Diagnostics was completely clear for the Ford with no codes present and live data looking good across the board.
The X-Trail had regenerated again and the DPF data looked healthy again.
⚠️ The X-Trail did however have a code now present for the Fuel Pump (which explained the recent starting issue).
👨🔧 With diagnostics documented and cleared on both vehicles we proceeded with the clean on both and by the end both were quiet, smooth and responsive again.
🗣️ ‘Absolutely superb quieter and also more punchy now. Very smooth. Passed MOT with flying colours. The MOT couldn’t believe how low the emissions were. Dad’s little issue came back again so going to the garage but when it started he noticed the difference.
