Here we have a multi-vehicle booking making the most of our services and discounts (referred by a family member who we performed a Diagnostic and Clean for recently).
1️⃣ Peugeot 208 GTi (2015 – 27,586 miles) recently purchased and booked in for a diagnostic consultation. With warranty in place this one was to be checked for any issues to be rectified via the warranty.
2️⃣Ford Mondeo 2.2 TDCi (2007 – 117,075 miles) owned for a while and looking to recover the quiet, smooth and responsive running it used to have.
🔎📊1️⃣ The diagnostics on the Peugeot showed a few historical issues and a couple of current issues to be addressed. The main radiator fan looked like it was not working and the fan did not kick in at all during the consultation (along with an active code for the fan). In addition the A/C wasn’t cold and an intermittent code was present for the refrigerant pressure. This will either be just needing a regas, or could be down to a faulty pressure sensor or seal issue. The owner can now get these looked at via warranty.
🔎📊2️⃣ The Mondeo had an excessive rattle from the front which we quickly identified as the A/C unit kicking on and off. Other than that the Mondeo was running sweetly with all live data looking good.
👨🔧 With the Peugeot scheduled for a clean once the warranty issues are dealt with we got started with the Mondeo. The engine soon smoothed out and quietened down and by the end was quiet, smooth and responsive again.
