Here we have a Range Rover Sport 3.6 V8 (2009 – 112.061 miles) booked in for diagnostic consultation and Engine Carbon Clean after the owner has recently acquired it.
🔍 Having known the previous owner and the vehicle since it was new he was aware of the history and knew it had been kept well maintained, but just wanted to give it a check up and clean out. No boost leaks or others engine bay issues were apparent so on with the diagnostics.
📊 Diagnostics showed quite a few historic error codes which we documented and emailed to the owner and once cleared only one reappeared which was for a seat height motor sensor.
Having seen lots of Range Rover Sport vehicles with failed or failing EGRs it was good to see these working nicely with good actuation and exhaust gas flow on each one.
⚙️ On with the clean and now quieter, smooth and responsive again after an Engine Carbon Clean.
