Ideal Restorative Maintenance:
Cleaning up the hot side of a turbo helps restore lost power and helps prevent sticking turbo and limp mode issues in future.
Cleaning up the combustion chamber, injector tips, pistons, cylinders and cats will help the engine run smooth and quiet again. This stops it over fuelling to
1) restore lost fuel economy (MPG) saving you money at the pump
2) bring emissions back down which is especially important given the far stricter MOT rules now.
Ideal Preventative Maintenance:
Getting the engine cleaned up helps an EGR and DPF (if present) as this will reduce the amount of soot entering the EGR and DPF in future – the latter means a diesel will regenerate far less often so again saving on fuel. Identifying issues on diagnostics also helps prevent future mechanical bills.
Allowing carbon to build-up leads to:
- Reduced power and performance
- Increased vibration, noise & shake
- Smoke & high emissions (failed MOT)
- Sticking EGR valves and turbos
- DPF Issues, engine and DPF warning lights
- Declining fuel economy (MPG)
Ideal Health Check – Live Data Diagnostics included with every booking where possible:
We perform a vehicle inspection and a thorough live data engine diagnostic throughout every booking (where possible) to make a full assessment of the vehicle (useful if still in warranty for example) to assess if the vehicle is fit for cleaning and more importantly if you ought to be spending your money fixing mechanical or electrical issues first.
The vehicle may be running perfectly fine with no engine lights, but you never know what you are going to find.
Throughout the clean we monitor all the live data from components such as EGR data, DPF data, injector data, fuel pressure data, etc. that we can to further identify any faults that may be contributing to any issues.
A mobile service suitable for all petrol, diesel, LPG, hybrid or any other hydrocarbon-based engines in cars, vans, bikes, boats, etc.
The service takes about one hour (per vehicle) and is performed at home or a location to suit you (by appointment).
