đ Here we have an imported Toyota GT ST 202 (1995 – 86,947 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean.
âšī¸ The owner had used us previously on a BMW and we were back to do a repeat on the BMW and also give this beauty some TLC. The owner is in the process of restoring this with a new cat, MOT and looking to get the paint restored ready for the summer.
đ With 25 years of buildup in there the bass purr from the engine was considerable and it wasn’t running as smooth as it should. That bass purr was creating quite a bit of boom from the exhaust. There was little of note in the engine bay and with coolant temperatures nice and hot and the fans kicking in regularly we were good to go.
đ¨âđ§ On with the clean and the bass note in the engine subsided as it smoothed out and the boom from the exhaust went along with it. By the end it was picking up nicely, whisper quiet up front and a nice burble from the exhaust.
