Here we have a stunning Audi RS4 – 2006 (B7) and 93,890 miles on the clock booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean.
The owner has recently blacked out a lot of the chrome trim and had the paint corrected so is in immaculate condition.
🚀 The owner is considering a supercharger kit to take this up to approx 600hp and in preparation wanted us to clean up the combustion chamber and cats to get it silky smooth and quiet and get the emissions down.
⚠️ As part of the charger kit install he will get a manual clean of the manifold/valves to get the power back. With these engines both procedures are ideal to get them truly singing again. We were able to offer advice after having charged these 4.2 V8s on our own vehicles so we also suggested a water/meth kit to keep temperatures down, but mainly to keep the manifold and valves clean going forward.
📊 Diagnostics was pretty clear apart from some historical codes which we documented and cleared.
⚙️ On with the clean and with these the tell tale purr from the engine and boominess from the exhaust that was there on arrival disappeared, the engine revved freely again and the exhaust note crispened up nicely.
