⚠️ Vehicle not running right? Engine Lights on?

🚗 Here we have an Audi A3 1.6 TDI (2010 – 130,350 miles) booked in for diagnostic consultation and Engine Carbon Clean after it hasn’t been running well recently with engine lights, flashing coil lights and Limp mode issues.

🔎 Initial inspection found no obvious issues in the engine bay.

📊 Initial code read found a code present for EGR sensor B circuit low. This is the reason for the warning lights.

🔎🔎 Further inspecrion of the live data showed good temperatures, recent DPF regeneration, good EGR movement and fuel pressures and cylinder balancing all acceptable. There was some deviation on the EGR data.

🧑‍🔧 Although the Engine Carbon Clean won’t resolve the EGR sensor issue, the owner still opted for the clean and by the end it was quiet, smooth and responsive again and the owner can now sort out the issues found and getting it back to its best.
