đ Here we have a VW Golf 2.0 TDI (2006 – 160,139 miles) booked in for diagnostic consultation and Engine Carbon Clean.
âšī¸ The owner uses us on a regular basis to help maintain the vehicle through regular diagnostics and keeping it smooth, quiet, responsive and fuel efficient.
đ Initial inspection found no major issues in the engine bay, but there was a slight wobble to the engine and a subtle bass note indicating the carbon present since the last clean.
đģ Initial diagnostics showed an active code for glow plug 3 so the owner can now get that resolved and likely will replace all the plugs given the age and mileage.
đ Live data monitoring showed data looking fine with coolant temperature at 94°C, injector fuelling deviation was minimal and all other data looking spot on.
đ¨âđ§ On with the clean and the engine soon smoothed out and quietened down and by the end it was quieter, smooth and responsive again.
