Here we have a Nissan X-Trail (2011 – 40,434 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean referred to us by a friend of the owner (and previous customer) after a history of short journeys.
📊 Diagnostics showed some historic codes including one for the EGR which we discussed with the owner, documented and cleared and live data looked good so we continued on.
⚙️ Just 10 minutes into the clean and the engine vibration lessened, the engine quietened down and smoothed out and by the end it was lovely and smooth with no recurrence of the initial codes.
With a service due soon the owner can now check to see if any of the codes have triggered again when checked at the service and deal with the fresh codes.
