⚠️ Preventative maintenance is key to keep a vehicle running at its best.
⏰ With 25k miles on the clock this was perfect timing for the initial clean on this Jeep Renegade 2.0d (2017 – 25,206 miles).
📊 Diagnostics was fairly clear with a few intermittent codes which we documented and cleared. Live data was fine across the board with rail pressures, EGR gas flow and injector fuelling amongst others all OK so on with the clean.
👨🔧 After 25k the initial symptoms were starting to appear, a bass note to the engine and a lack of urgency in response, but thankfully not at the stage where fuel economy had deteriorated. By the end it was lovely and quiet, crisp and responsive again and peace of mind for the owner.
🗣️ ‘Morning Adrian, my Rene is spot on bud. Tnx for the diesel info, I learned a lot & found the mechanics (or in your case the chemistry) very interesting. Ref drive, I do feel that it is more responsive & no turbo lag. Mpg still showing 42.9. Tnx again m8 will be back in 25. Best rgds Daz’
