Here we have a returning customer with a new acquisition. A BMW 325d (2009 – 137,769 miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean.
📊 Diagnostics showed little of note in historic codes (probably cleared by the garage prior to sale) and all the live data looked good.
🌡️Checking the thermostats (and glowplugs) is important on these vehicles and although it took a while in the cold wind the engine made it up to temperature and stayed there so all looked good.
✔️ DPF looked fine with nice low backpressures and a regeneration just 117km ago.
⚙️ On with the clean and it was soon quieter and smoothed out nicely by the end and the owner has peace of mind with his purchase.
