‘From start to finish a professional service, I had my sons Audi TTS carbon cleaned, with engine diagnostics. Adrian was extremely knowledgeable and explained the diagnostic results to me and how the process of cleaning works. Cleared some old fault codes and then checked for repeating issues. The carbon clean approach has resulted in the car running so much smoother, the transition between gears is smoother and the throttle is more responsive. We also had the comfort to know the car we had bought, which is still under warranty, is not a lemon and the engine is in good working order. Here we have an Audi TTS 2.0 petrol (2009 – 97,333 miles) booked in for diagnostic consultation and Engine Carbon Clean.

ℹ️ The owner had recently purchased it for his son and although seemed to be running sweetly wanted to get it checked over and cleaned up to restore lost performance and claim on the warranty if we found any issues.

Initial inspection found no major issues in the engine bay with a small amount of background vibration and a bass note from the carbon present.

Initial diagnostics showed error codes for one of the keys (which the owner was aware of) and historic codes from some missing communication between controllers in the car which is common on vehicles sat on forecourts from low battery events.

Live data monitoring showed all data looking fine apart from the coolant temperature which was only around 79°C on arrival and the hottest we could get was 89°C. The owner is now aware and for peace of mind can get this checked.

Steve arrived to give my Jaguar xfs an engine carbon clean. Presently on 107,000 miles. Explained the process and was obviously very knowledgeable about the process and expected outcomes. And he was a thoroughly nice chap.
The V6 in the xfs is a quiet, smooth, powerful unit and I was not sure of what improvements I would get. Well, I’m impressed. The power delivery is smoother, the engine even quieter and 6 mpg better to boot.
If you want to do one thing to maintain and improve your motor, then this is what you should do.

Iv had the pleasure of having 2 Carbon cleans from both Adrian and Mark. Both lovely gentlemen and you can tell they love what they do. My car failed on emissions and this helped me get the car through the test, and at the time, I REALLY needed a pass because I couldn’t get anywhere. These guys saved me. Today Adrian from F5 Carbon7 DPF Clean came to de carbonise my xc60 he arrived bang on time he was very courteous and explained in great detail what the process was .
He set up within 5 minutes and went on to the diagnostics and talked me through what was coming up after a reset all was clear. It took about 1 hour in total great job well happy would definitely recommend Adrian well mannered gentleman.
